The huge fairground section at the Great Dorset Steam Fair is World-renowned. The largest travelling fairground of it’s type in the United Kingdom. You will find a fantastic mix of old and new equipment to suit all tastes and ages from a traditional ride on a steam driven set of Gallopers (Carousel) to a hair-raising white-knuckle experience on one of the modern adrenaline rides. The fairground at night transforms into a magical electric city of lights and sounds and is definitely not to be missed.

The Old Time steam funfair at the Great Dorset Steam Fair includes two sets of Gallopers (carousels), Steam Yachts, Chair-o-Planes, Noah’s Ark, Skid, Cakewalk, Big Wheel and a Light House Slip.

This modern fun fair boasts and includes a 35 metre Giant Big Wheel where unrivalled views of the show can be experienced, a full size Roller Coaster “The Magic Mouse,” The Reverse Bunge, Tower Rides including “The Sky Flyer,” “Tagada,” “Top Buzz,” “The Bomber,” “The Frogs,” “Matterhorn.”
Fun and games are round every corner with our massive selection of penny arcades, shooting galleries, hooplas, side stalls, ghost trains, fun houses, a run away train, lots of juveniles rides, including swing boats and trampolines for the little ones.
