Weather permitting, the Heavy Haulage Arena will be alive with activity
(pulls and winching) all day
Heavy Horse Ring
There will be a twice daily programme (timetable to be announced at the show each
day) which will include a display of horse drawn implements and drays. Sat 30th
August is Heavy
Horse Show Day with showing classes commencing at 9.30pm. A Heavy Horse "friendly"
ploughing match will take place on Wed 27th August adjacent to the ring.
Rest of Showground
All other areas and sections of the show will have continuous displays and working
demonstrations from 11am until 5pm (click on
Attractions). The Old Time Steam Funfair and Modern Fairground will stay
open until Midnight on Wed, Thurs, Fri (27th - 29th August) and until 1am on Sat
30th August. Show closes 5pm Sun 31st August.
