Also in the Concert Pavilion from 12.30pm to 15.30pm Weds, Thurs, Fri and Sat, Ashley Daye presents for the 3rd year running a popular Talent Contest and Karaoke competion.
Do your thing, and strut your stuff, £50 prize money each day. Ashley will also entertain you in a relaxed vocal style, which will appeal to all ages.

Description: Blandford Town's resident brass band has existed
for over a century; in fact it is on record that the band once won the Brass Band
National Championships. During the 1900's there were many small musical groups around
in the area, and following the war years, the band amalgamated with some of these
to form its present day name. This years series of concerts are conducted by the
bands resident musical director, Tim Stankus who has 'carried the baton' for the
last decade.

Description: The Wareham Whalers are a group of guys who got
together in 2004 and started singing shanties and songs of the sea. They enjoyed
themselves so much they decided to collect for Charity at the same time, their chosen
Charity being Wareham and Purbeck Multiple Sclerosis. They were formed by Dave Wheatly
and John Brown in April 2004. They are now six strong and going from strength to
strength.
