By road from Bournemouth International Airport
On leaving the main airport area, at T-junction turn right onto Parley Lane - B3073
this is signposted Wimbourne. At Chapel Gate roundabout take the 1st exit onto Parley
Lane - B3073. Follow signs to Ringwood on the A347, continuing forward on the A347
now entering Ferndown. At traffic signals turn right onto Ringwood Road - A348 this
will be signposted Ringwood. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Ringwood Road
- A348, at Tricketts Cross roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Ringwood Road - A348.
At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A31 now signposted Dorchester. At roundabout
take the 2nd exit onto the A31. At the Canford Bottom roundabout take the 3rd exit
onto the A31, then at Merley roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A31, at the next
roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A31, then take the 3rd exit onto Poole Road
which is the A350 and will be signposted Blandford. Continue forward onto Blandford
Road, at the crossroads bear right onto High Street continue forward onto Bournemouth
Road. At Bournmouth Road roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A354, at next roundabout
take the 2nd exit onto the A354, then take the 3rd exit onto Salisbury Road continue
forward onto Salisbury Road, once entering Pimperne follow The Great Dorset Steam
Fair signs which will take you into Tarrant Hinton.
By road from Portsmouth Isle of Wight Ferry Terminal in Hampshire.
Bear right onto St Georges Road - B2154 this will be signposted Out of City, Central
Southsea, now entering Portsmouth onto the B2154. At roundabout take the 1st exit
onto Cambridge Road - A3 this will be signposted City Centre, Out of City. At traffic
signals continue forward onto Anglesea Road - A3 still signposted Out of City. At
traffic signals continue forward onto Alfred Road - A3 this will be signposted HM
Naval Base. At the traffic signals continue forward onto Marketway - A3 still signposted
Out of City and Cross Channel Ferries..Keep in left hand lanes then branch left
onto Marketway. At Church Street roundabout take the 1st exit onto Mile End Road
still signposted Out of City and Ferries. Continue forward onto the M275 now signposted
M275 London, The Midlands, Southampton and Brighton . Branch left signposted A27
Paulsgrove, then join the M27 motorway. At junction 4 continue forward signposted
The West.
Pass the Rownhams Service Area, continue forward onto the A31 past the Rufus Stone
Service Area, continuing forward onto the A31. Now entering Poulner Hill, continue
forward onto the A31. Keep in right hand lanes then continue forward signposted
The West and Dorchester. At Woolsbridge roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Ringwood
Road - A31 now signposted Dorchester. At Boundary Lane roundabout take the 2nd exit
onto Ringwood Road, now entering St Leonards. At Azalea roundabout take the 1st
exit onto Ringwood Road - At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A31 this will
be signposted Dorchester. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A31. At Canford
Bottom roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A31 still signposted Dorchester. At
Merley roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A31. At Lake Gates roundabout take
the 2nd exit onto the A31 signposted Dorchester, at Roundhouse roundabout take the
3rd exit onto Poole Road - A350 this is signposted Blandford. Continue forward onto
Blandford Road - A350, now entering Sturminster Marshall. At the crossroads bear
right onto High Street. Continue forward onto Bournemouth Road. At Bournmouth Road
roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A354 signposted Salisbury, at the roundabout
take the 2nd exit onto the A354 this is signposted Salisbury. At Salisbury Road
roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Salisbury Road signposted Salisbury, continue
forward onto Salisbury Road - A354. Now entering Pimperne follow The Great Dorset
Steam Fair signs to Tarrant Hinton.
By road from London
On the M25 clockwise, leave the M25 at junction 12 signposted Basingstoke,
Southampton and Sunbury, then join the M3 motorway. Past Fleet Service Area, keep
Left signposted The Southwest, then merge onto the A303. Branch left, then merge
onto the A338 signposted Hungerford. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the
A338 signposted Salisbury, at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A338. Continue
forward onto the A338, bear left onto Tidworth Road - A338. Entering Porton, continue
forward onto the A338. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A338 signposted
Salisbury and The Winterbournes, bear left over railway bridge, then bear right,
at St Thomas' Bridge roundabout take the 3rd exit onto London Road - A30 signposted
Salisbury then take the 1st exit onto London Road. Bear left onto London Road, follow
signs for the A30 at St Marks roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Churchill Way -
A36 signposted Southampton, at the College roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Churchill
Way - A338 signposted South Coast. At New Bridge roundabout take the 1st exit onto
New Bridge Road - A338 signposted Ringwood and Blandford. At Harnham Junction roundabout
take the 1st exit onto Coombe Road - A338. Keep in right hand lane then at traffic
signals continue forward onto the A354 signposted Blandford, at roundabout take
the 2nd exit onto Coombe Road - A354, continue forward onto Salisbury Road, entering
Coombe Bissett. Continue forward onto the A354 and at Handley Cross roundabout take
the 2nd exit onto the A354, bear left onto the A354. Entering Tarrant Hinton follow
signs for The Great Dorset Steam Fair.
By road from Exeter Airport
From airport area, turn right onto the B3184, at roundabout take the 1st
exit, then merge onto the A30 signposted Honiton, branch left, then merge onto the
A35 this is signposted Dorchester, cross road bridge and continue forward onto the
A35, at mini-roundabout turn left onto Kings Road, keep straight on the A35 and
at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A35 signposted Bridport and Dorchester,
continue forward onto the A35, continue forward on the A35. At the roundabout take
the 2nd exit onto Sea Road South - A35, then take the 3rd exit onto East Road signposted
Dorchester, at the roundabout take the 3rd exit then take the 2nd exit onto the
A35, then take 2nd exit following signs to Ringwood and Poole. Branch left, then
at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A354 signposted Blandford, continue forward
onto the A354, and at Bournemouth Road roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A354
signposted Salisbury. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A354 signposted
Salisbury then take the 3rd exit onto Salisbury Road, Continue forward onto Salisbury
Road, once entering Pimperne follow signs to The Great Dorset Steam Fair to Tarrant
Hinton.

at Norfolk Cross continue forward signposted Kidderminster , at Kings Head
Cross continue forward signposted M5, Kidderminster, continue forward onto Hagley
Road - A456. Entering Quinton. At Hagley Road roundabout take the 3rd exit onto
Hagley Road West - A456. Keep in right-hand lanes to continue through underpass
signposted Kidderminster, at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Quinton Expressway
- A456. At roundabout take the 1st exit, then join the M5 motorway signposted The
South West, Worcester. Leave the M5 at junction 15 signposted London and South Wales,
then join the M4 motorway signposted London. Leave the M4 at junction 18 signposted
Bath, Stroud, then at Tormanton Interchange roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the
A46 signposted Bath, continue forward onto the A46. At Cold Ashton roundabout take
the 2nd exit onto the A46 signposted Bath, continue forward onto the A46. Branch
left signposted Bath and Warminster, then at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto London
Road - A4 signposted Bath. At Cleveland Place turn left onto Cleveland Place East
- A36. Follow signs for the A36 until at roundabout follow signs for the A350 signposted
Poole and Blandford. Continue forward onto the A350. At Ivy Cross roundabout take
the 2nd exit onto Little Content Lane - A30 signposted Fontmell Magna. At roundabout
take the 2nd exit onto Christys Lane - A30,
at Royal Chase roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A350 signposted Blandford and
Poole, bear left onto Shaston Road - A350. Entering Stourpaine, at junction with
A357 at traffic signals continue forward onto the A350. At Shaftesbury Lane roundabout
take the 2nd exit onto the A350 signposted Poole, continue forward onto Salisbury
Road - A354. Now entering Pimperne, follow signs for The Great Dorset Steam Fair
to Tarrant Hinton.
By road from Bristol Airport
leaving the main airport area at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto North
Side Road , at roundabout take the 1st exit onto North Side Road, then take the
2nd exit onto North Side Road, turn left, then at roundabout take the 1st exit onto
the A38, bear left onto the A38. Entering Potters Hill, continue forward onto Bridgwater
Road - A38, now entering Bristol.
At "the Kings Head Tavern" roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Kings Head
Lane this will be signposted Bishopsworth and Hengrove. Turn right onto Bishopsworth
Road signposted Withywood and Hartcliffe, at the mini-roundabout turn left onto
Whitchurch Road signposted Cater Business Park. Continue forward onto Whitchurch
Lane, then at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Hengrove Way this will be signposted
M32, M4, M5. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Hengrove Way - A4174 signposted
Ring Road and Bath A4, at the traffic signals turn right onto Wells Road - A37 this
will be signposted Yeovil, Wells A39. Continue forward onto Bristol Road - A37.
Bear left onto New Road - A37. At Chelwood Bridge roundabout take the 2nd exit onto
the A37, signposted Shepton Mallet, and Yeovil; continue forward onto the A37. At
Rush Hill Junction branch left signposted Shepton Mallet, Yeovil, Continue forward
onto High Street - A37. At Charlton Crossroads turn left onto Charlton Road - A361
signposted Frome. Continue on the A361, and at Nunney Catch roundabout take the
3rd exit onto the A361 signposted Frome, then take the 2nd exit onto the A361 signposted
Trowbridge then take the 2nd exit, turn right onto the A362 this will be signposted
Warminster. At Picket Post Roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A362. At Cley Hill
roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A36. Continue forward onto the A36 now entering
Warminster. At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A350 signposted Poole, Blandford;
continue forward onto the A350. At Ivy Cross Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Little
Content Lane this is signposted Fontmell Magna, and then take 2nd exit onto Christys
Lane - A30
At Royal Chase Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A350 signposted Blandford,
Poole; bear left onto the A350. Entering Compton Abbas , continue forward onto Blandford
Road - A350. Entering Iwerne Minster, bear left onto Shaston Road - A350. Entering
Stourpaine at the junction with A357 at traffic signals continue forward onto the
A350 At Shaftesbury Lane roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A350 signposted Poole,
at the Salisbury Road roundabout take the 1st exit onto Salisbury Road - A354. Continue
forward onto Salisbury Road - A354, now entering Pimperne, follow sign for The Great
Dorset Steam Fair and arrive at Tarrant Hinton.
