Exhibitors & Trade Information
The Great Dorset Steam Fair has one of the largest number of trade stands and exhibitors
at any county show, totalling 3,000 last year giving a massive choice and selection
for the public, with over £16.3million being spent within the show last year.
Demand for exhibitor and trading space is normally very high so please do apply
early if you wish to be considered.
Exhibiting

show you will then be sent an official application form to complete.
Trade Stands
Should you be interested in taking trading space, in the first instance you will

the "Trade Stand email enquiry" form here or by post. Should your stand be of interest
to the show you will then be sent an official application form to complete.
69% of all trade related stands at the 2008 show reported good or very good levels
of sales.
Information and the prices of the respective trading areas available at
the 2010 show are as follows.
General Trade Stands
There are over 15 acres of outside space allocated for trade stands at the show
each year. All pitches are ‘open space’ sites. Rents are charged at £22.50 per
foot frontage plus VAT (minimum frontage 12ft = £270.00 plus VAT). All stands
are 40ft standard depth. Larger depth stands can be arranged in occasional
circumstances with the overall price adjusted accordingly. Over 500 trade stands
will be present at the 2010 show.

Specialised Areas
If you want an alternative area to trade in, be adjacent to a specific activity
or simply be out of the melee of the general trade stand area there are many other
areas that can accommodate Exhibition stands, for example:
- Campsites - Camping accessories stands
- Tractor Areas - Farm equipment stands
- Commercial Vehicles Section
- Horse Ring - Equine equipment or services
- Concert stages
You can request your stand to be placed adjacent to the activity or exhibit of your
choice.
Charity Stands
Rents are £14.00 per ft frontage plus VAT (minimum frontage 12ft = £168 plus
VAT) Stands are 30ft standard depth.

Auto Jumble
150 Auto Jumble ‘open space’ pitches are available in this section of the
showgound. Rents are £19.50 per ft frontage plus VAT (minimum frontage 12ft =
£234.00 plus VAT). Again pitches are 30ft standard depth.

Rural Craft Area
- Inside Craft Space - Covered craft trading space is available in the
marquees. Rents are £29.00 per ft frontage including VAT (minimum frontage 12ft
= £348.00 including VAT). Standard depth of stand 6ft. Tables are available @
£9.00 each inc. VAT and electricity @ £60.00 inc. VAT. Over 100 stands will be
present within the Rural Craft Marquees.
- Outside Craft Space - Rents for outside open craft space is available at
£24.00 per ft frontage including VAT (minimum frontage 12ft = £288.00 including
VAT). Standard depth 25ft. Electricity £60.00 inc. VAT.
